Throughout the winter months, Chef Michael will be featuring a variety of North Carolina fish.  Michael works closely with the local seafood purveyors to offer you the finest and freshest fish available.  Our fresh catch will be prepared in a variety of different ways!  Each creation will be sure to please any seafood lover.

Jimmy V's Steakhouse & Tavern - Step into our New York style steakhouse. We specialize in hearty, traditional fare and courteous, friendly service. In addition to our generously cut Certified Angus Beef, which is cooked to juicy perfection, we feature fresh seafood, Italian specialties, homemade desserts and one of the area's most extensive wine lists. Our fine cuisine, atmosphere and impeccable service create a truly memorable dining experience.

The memory of the late N.C. State Men's Basketball Coach Jim Valvano still lives on at a Cary restaurant tucked in the back of MacGregor Village, which was a local favorite place of his.

The owner, a longtime Cary resident, businessman and a friend of the Valvanos, bought the restaurant more than 10 years ago, and with the Valvano family's permission, he renamed it Jimmy V's in memory of his dear friend.

The restaurant, formerly Giorgio's and Vinny's, was a regular hang out for Jim and his golfing buddies after 18 holes at nearby MacGregor Downs Country Club. Today, friends frequent Jimmy V's weekly, reminiscing and catching up on life over a good meal.

It's common knowlege that customers get more than a meal when they come to Jimmy V's Steak House and Tavern. What they get is a dining experience complete with a warm, friendly atmosphere and exceptional service.

Perhaps the biggest gift of all for the restaurant appropriately named after a man who gave so much to so many, is keeping Jim's legacy alive with walls covered with faces of those lives he touched.

The Boardroom

Our Banquet Room, The Boardroom, is a great place to host a party. We plan wedding rehearsals and reception dinners, cocktail parties and many corporate dinners. With the capacity to host up to 90 people and the elegant setting, we are the perfect place for any occasion.
