Atmosphere: Step into Jack Sprat and you'll find an eclectic atmosphere with old brick walls on one side and a shinny new kitchen and barista bar on the other side.  Open all day long, Jack Spat offers something for everything with great food, open mic night, live jazz and different local band playing every Friday and Saturday night starting at 10pm. 

Barrista : At Jack Sprat café, they serve Organic Fair-Trade Certified Coffee locally roasted by Carborro Coffee Company. They take great pride in their quality coffee and lattes with a wide selection of pastries, bagels and specialty drinks. Full ABC permits allow them to offer a great choice of liqueurs and spirits to enhance your coffee experience.  The bar is open all day, from breakfast to late night serving the best food on Franklin Street. 

Late Night at Jack Sprat:  Over the past few years, the owners of Jack Sprat have had the pleasure of turning their coffee shop/deli into a location with a cool vibe on E. Franklin St.'s into one of the area's best venues for live independent music. They  feature live acts every Friday and Saturday and Open Mic on Mondays. They also offer HD viewings of Tar Heel sports games whenever available on any of their three big screen TV's.
