 The Raleigh center for the Triangle arts scene continues to shine at The Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Home to the North Carolina Symphony and the North Carolina Theatre, this magnificent venue has thrilled audiences with outstanding performances in ballet, opera, orchestral music, theater, comedy, and popular music concerts, featuring some of the world's most celebrated artist from Mikhail Baryshnikov to Ray Charles.
Raleigh's Memorial Auditorium is one of North Carolina's finest performing arts facilities. Opened in 1932, it continues to be the premiere Raleigh art attraction and is the Raleigh center piece for every aspect of the performing arts. With 80,000 square feet of stage, house, rehearsal hall, lobbies and public areas Memorial Auditorium is one of the most decisively versatile facilities in the Southeast.
Durham Arts
 The Durham Performing Arts Center also known as DPAC opened on the Triangle Arts scene in November of 2008. And what an entrance it was! DPAC sold out over 30 shows including musical acts Leonard Cohen, Steely Dan, and Harry Connick Jr., comedians Bill Cosby and Robin Williams and an entire week of Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple.
The Durham arts scene has virtually exploded as DPAC grows into establishing a cultural landmark for the region. DPAC is also currently listed in the top 100 in Pollstar magazine’s Top Worldwide Theater Venues. DPAC presented more than 150 ticketed events during the first year with over 250,000 guests from the region in attendance and the SunTrust Broadway Series second season boasted 10,000 season ticket holders and is quickly becoming one of America’s biggest Broadway subscription series.
